Position: Construction Equipment Mechanic

Hire Resolves client is seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Wellington, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining construction equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment to ensure they are safe and operational Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues quickly and effectively Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Keep work area clean and organised

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Equipment Mechanic Certification or diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or a related field Strong knowledge of construction equipment and their components Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
