Construction Equipment Coordinator (Kansas City)
**Description** This Construction Equipment Coordinator is responsible for daily management and logistics of heavy industrial equipment for the Construction Global Practice. This position is expected to ensure all construction equipment is available, maintained, and in good working order for safety and cost efficiency. The Construction Equipment Coordinator will work with the Construction Equipment Manager on budget, purchases, loss mitigation, and maintenance requirements. + Coordinate the planning, delivery and return of equipment to meet project timelines. + Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, location, and condition. Provide reporting to support. + Oversee maintenance schedules, authorizing required maintenance and repairs work orders + Work with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary equipment and parts + Review and authorize repairs with repair shops. + Provide regular updates on equipment status and needs to stakeholders. + Coordinate with leads of wholly owned subsidiary equipment departments to deliver consistent operational philosophy. + Oversee the compliance of the equipment safety program to ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.. + Delivering reliable equipment on time to project sites. + Support the company equipment procurement program, including the presentation of renting vs buying. + Assist subsidiaries to manage logistics of equipment and address any gaps in just-in-time logistics. + Ensure compliance of Maintenance, Registration, and Certification Programs. + Monitors the activities of proposed equipment subcontractors or vendors to support compliance with specifications and schedules. + Prepares equipment operating cost budgets. + Manage equipment cost and revenue streams. + Monitor Tracking and Billing Systems. + Conduct process/System development and enhancement to support scalable growth. + Support teams in training and understanding of safe equipment usage requirements and practices. + Conduct equipment safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required. + All other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in automotive, heavy equipment, finance, or business-related degree from an accredited program; applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. + Minimum of 7 years of applicable equipment management experience. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills. + Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
