What You Can Expect
ENGIE is hiring a Student Construction/Engineering Intern. The Construction/Engineer Intern is a critical role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large-scale public sector customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include the design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures, performing site audits, specifying equipment, and completing savings calculations to support projects in development and construction. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations, to help local cities and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end-users and the expectation is that one to several projects are supported from early development through post-construction.
The internship work term will be from on or around October 2024 to December 2024. This position is full-time receiving up to 20 hours per week. Additional hours/weeks may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with your supervisor.
What You’ll Bring
Must be enrolled at a local university or junior college This position is suited for students in STEM programs or studying Environmental Sciences, Communications, Graphic Design, or Communications programs or pathways
Additional Details
Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester This role requires attendance at a worksite on a three times per week basis and the possibility of some remote work Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $21.00-34.00 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
