The Project

New Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Relocating the current 5 1/2 Acre Embassy Compound to a larger site within the DQ The new construction includes: NOB (New Office Building), WH/SPX (Warehouse/Support Annex) MSGR (Marine Security Guard Residence), UTL (Utility Building) Vehicel Repair Shops, CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities) Recreational Facilities, PKG (Structured Parking Garage), and more. We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 54 months are available if you want them Housing and transportation allowances provided Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 30% COLA Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home every 10 months on assignment)​​​

Position Description

Provide the NEC project with a full range of engineering and construction management oversight. Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance. Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly. Monitor construction progress regarding project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher US Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree 7 years construction experience ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
