Job DescriptionAECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Business Development Manager (or Senior Manager) to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
Plans, organizes and implements business development activities for an assigned market, geographic territory or region. Manages and oversees business development staff. Participates in decision-making.Works independently to pursue development of new business prospects. Assists in the development of proposals and gives presentations to potential clients. Generally has business development and/or technical experience, may require hands-on cost proposal development.About Construction Management – AECOM Hunt

QualificationsMinimum Requirement:
Business Development Manager:
BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or similar curriculum and 8 years of relevant Business Development experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.OR
Business Development Senior Manager:
BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or similar curriculum and 10 years of relevant Business Development experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.Preferred Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in construction from a large general contractor.Demonstrated success in Business Development for commercial or infrastructure construction.Strong communication skills, ability to interact with clients, stakeholders and team members.Strong understanding of commercial construction Business Development including documentation, finance, CMAR, etc.Software proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.Successful experience in the development of sales forecasts, negotiating contracts, closing deals and identification of market opportunities.Experience in proposal development and execution.Additional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position is not hybrid nor remote.Domestic travel is required for this position.About AECOM
