You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you. **A little more about the role…** The Constructability team provide practical advice to multi-disciplinary designers and clients at all stages of the design process on the most practical and efficient aspects of the design, material selection and methods of building a scheme. This can take many forms, from the simple advice on which materials to use, forms of construction through to full schematics diagrammatically showing the various stages of construction. These can be utilised to discuss and present the construction stages to various stakeholders, from both the client organisation and internal design teams. In addition to the actual construction phasing additional information often provided can include anticipated plant, labour and equipment forecasts, compound and office sizes and requirements, information on anticipated deliveries an associated vehicle movement. All the above information assists in the development of programmes and cost plans/budgets. Most of this work is civils based in a rail environment but includes work in other sectors as well, including supporting overseas projects.
