This position will be on the Data Strategy and Governance team within Enterprise Connectivity inside the CAT Digital organization. The Connectivity organization has enterprise accountability for telematics and telecommunications product line strategy, rationalization, quality, and cost. This position will support client data strategy implementation and data quality efforts.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Support the enterprise data strategy and data governance as a subject matter expert for the Telematics domain dataGuide business partners and technical partners to understand and execute the data strategyCollaborate with component teams, product groups and stakeholders to define data collection requirementsSupport and guide asset config creationSupport and guide clients in data validation effortsLead and support data quality investigations both onboard and offboardSupport design of data collection system enablers

Basic Qualifications:

Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, or related domain.5+ plus years of job-related work experience with increasing levels of responsibilityKnowledge and experience with connectivity/telematics data collectionExcellent written communication skillsExcellent verbal communication skillsExcellent teamwork and collaborationAbility to accurately review large volumes of dataKnowledge of Caterpillar machine and engine softwareKnowledge of Caterpillar data pipelines and platform architecturesExperience with Caterpillar machine and engine data links

Experience with Caterpillar platform data flowsExperience with Caterpillar machine and engine softwareProgramming and scripting experienceSelf-motivation, technical curiosity and eagerness to learnExperience managing projects and feature delivery with Azure DevOpsRequirements gathering and documentation experience with customers
