The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to join the Navy Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) division. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you’ll manage the software and hardware configurations of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. This position requires you to work on-site in the Austin, TX office two days per week.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement CM plans and processesCollaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align CM practices with project goalsApply configuration and data management control disciplines to design, development, and support of hardware, software, and other complex systemsEstablish and manage change control processesOversee configuration status accountingPlan and conduct configuration auditsProvide training and guidance and to developers for configuration / data managementEvaluate and recommend tools that support and automate processes

Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor's degree in technical field (science or engineering discipline)5+ years’ experience in CM roleProven experience with development, execution, and refinement of CM plans and processesActive DoD SECRET security clearanceAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearanceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to support multiple projects and priorities effectively

Desired:

Utilization and management of CM tools to store, track, and management configuration itemsFamiliarity with C4ISR systemsFamiliarity with the DoD Systems Engineering Process and MIL-HDBK-61 Configuration Management GuidanceActive DoD TS/SCI security clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600 - 129,300 USD
