What will I be doing?
As a Conference and Events Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising Conference and Events operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Conference and Events Operations Supervisor will also be required to delegate tasks in line with function sheets and assist with meeting departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nSupervise Conference and Banqueting operations\nCommunicate and delegate in line with daily function sheets\nAble to work in all areas of Conference and Banqueting including Bar, Restaurant, and Room Service\nWelcome guests in a polite and friendly manner\nFollow cash handling procedures\nManage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner\nEnsure cleanliness of work areas\nPlan, organise and control the daily operations\nEnsure compliance of brand standards\nRepresent needs of the team\nAssist Food and Beverage with achieving financial targets\nAssist Conference and Banquet Manager with training and developing the team\nAssist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility\nComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation\nComply with local licensing laws\nBe environmentally aware\nAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships\n\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nPrevious Conference and Banquet experience\nCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service\nPositive attitude\nGood communication skills\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\nAbility to work on your own or in teams\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\nExperience in the hotel industry\nExperience in supervising and/or delegation\nWillingness to develop team members and self\n\n
