We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Condition Monitoring Analyst position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Works closely with Product Support and Service departments to support various corporate initiatives around equipment condition.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Analyzes equipment data to make qualified, accurate, and relevant recommendations based on customer requirements.Monitors VisionLink for alerts, events, and equipment status.Communicates relevant equipment status to other business units and customers as needed.Creates and distributes reports including monthly fleet status reports to customers and other business units as neededTracks and reports VisionLink alerts and events to customers and Product Support Sales Reps (PSSRs) based on customer requirements.Monitors and tracks fluid analysis results (oil and other fluids) and provides recommendations.Interacts with customers and provides details on various solutions that we offer (PartStore, SIS WEB)Builds collaborative relationships with Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Parts, and Product Support personnel to collect information needs and functional requirements.Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.Performs and supports various other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalentTwo to five years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. DBS and/or AS400 experience preferred.Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.Product knowledge in Caterpillar and associated product lines preferred.Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean record.Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines. Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walking and moving about on foot often up and down stairs.Handling: Works with hands.Lifting: May lift up to 25 lbs.Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.Vision: Reads computer screens and paperwork.Talking: Communications via telecommunications and in person.Sitting: Sits at desk.  Sits for long periods of time.Climbing: Climb on and off earthmoving machines/engines.

ENVIRONMENTAL:          

Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment.
