The Geostructural/Concrete Grouting/Repair team within our Industrial Division is searching for Concrete Repair Laborers.
Responsibilities
General construction knowledge and able to properly operate hand and power tools. Loading and unloading material and equipment up to 50 lbs. Mix, pour, or spread concrete using portable cement mixers. Perform safety inspections of work areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Communicate with crew members and management to ensure safety and efficiency. Clean and prepare constructions site, ensure work area is safe and organized. Ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions. Capable of working at a sustained pace and produce quality work. Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance.Qualifications
One year of construction laborer experience preferred Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed. Ability and willingness to travel and work out of town for extended periods.Work Environment:
Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. While performing the essential functions of this job the Superintendent will regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle and manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, lift above the head, bend to the waist, squat, talk, and hear. Occasionally climb ladders, crawl in tight or confined spaces, and lift, move or push up to 75 pounds. Specific vision requirements include near, far, and color vision. Ascend or descend stairs as well as walk on uneven terrain. Work in construction areas poses a greater risk due to moving equipment and potential trip and fall hazards. Regularly be exposed to varying temperatures (high and low) and loud noises.
