The Opportunity |Te kōwhiringa

We’re seeking out concrete superstars to help Downer deliver on existing and upcoming Maintenance contracts. You will be primarily based out of Manchester Place – Hamilton, but the job does occasionally involve travel to other contracted areas and the odd overnight away from home.

As a Concrete Labourer you will carry out concrete footpath, kerb and channel construction and repair. You will also;

Help with safe site setup for your crew and the general public Assist with installation of framework and prep work for concrete pour Pour and finish concrete placement including exposed Concrete finish Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver to projects Optimise the use of company resources and contributing to the successful completion of contracts Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment 

 

Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua 
You will be a team player with an organized and systematic approach to the working environment. Experience in the civil contracting industry and experience installing/repairing concrete and form work will ensure you a foundation for success! 

You will also hold the ability to finish concrete work to high standards and work on exposed concrete. A full Class 1 Drivers licence is required in this role.  
 

We are willing to offer training for candidates with the right attitude and a keen interest/some exposure to our environment.
