What You'll Do

You are a key member of the Office Experience and Events team responsible for the staff and visitor experience of the office. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to BCG’s Brooklyn office, the Concierge Assistant is valued as the “Chief of First Impressions”. In addition, you will provide support to the broader Office Experience and Events Team, especially during peak times for internal and client-facing events as well as perform general office tasks as necessary.

Greet and assist employees, clients, and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experienceMonitor visitor access, manage security badge distribution, and maintain guest listsReinforce security and access protocols, liaise with building management and security teamRespond to inquiries, provide guidance on navigating the space, and facilitate office and room booking requestsMaintain the appearance and functionality of office common areas, meeting spaces, and pantries.Support catering coordination, including researching vendors, placing orders, and setting up/breaking down food and beverages for meetings, events, and office lunchAssist with meeting and event logistics, including room setup, basic IT/AV needs, and vendor coordinationManage office supplies and mail distribution, escalating maintenance and IT issues as necessaryAssist with office-wide communicationsProvide additional on-site support during key meetings and internal eventsPerform additional projects or tasks as assigned or required

Passion for hospitality and making guests and colleagues feel welcome

High emotional intelligence, patience, and ability to stay service-oriented and composed under pressure

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

1 – 3 years of experience in a professional environment – concierge or hospitality experience preferred

Strong organizational and process management skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to spend significant time walking and standing and to lift packages and equipment up to 30lbs.



Additional info

This role currently requires 5 days a week in office presence. This in-office plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration, and networking with our colleagues.

 

This role is overtime eligible and occasionally requires after-hours support for meetings and events.

 

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.  

 

We expect total annualized compensation for Brooklyn-based employees to be approximately the following:  

Base salary between $56,000- $68,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%  5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period First year annualized target total compensation: $62,328- $75,684 (USD)
