POSITION SUMMARY
The Computerized Maintenance Management Software Manager or “CMMS” Manager will work closely with the Territorial Property Secretary and Property Director to provide support in the use of the approved Computerized Maintenance Management software or “CMMS”. This position will train new UpKeep users, maintain data accuracy and asset hierarchy in the CMMS system.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years experience in maintenance and/or construction field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience working with asset management software preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must keep and maintain a Valid CA Drivers License, clean MVR check and Salvation Army approved Drivers Training Course. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Advanced Excel software Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills to work effectively with business partners and working groups to meet mutual goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Spearhead the roll-out and implementation of planned maintenance software (UpKeep). Train UpKeep users across the Western Territory on planned maintenance software (UpKeep) and serve as primary point of contact between UpKeep and the Territory. Coach and train users on CMMS functions and best practices for performing tasks. Utilize industry best practices to prioritize and plan all corrective, preventative, predictive, and project maintenance activity, for Territorial assets. Maintains current knowledge in the field of planned maintenance. Drives opportunities for improvement in the area of planned maintenance. Operates with considerable latitude for actions or decisions, independently and on own initiative with minimal supervision from the Property Director. Manages multiple projects while meeting rigorous performance standards and demanding schedules. Responds positively and decisively in normal and emergency situations. Makes decisions using sound judgement while complying with The Salvation Army policies and procedures. The Property Director may assign additional duties (that are consistent with the position)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
