IRS Business Transformation is a key department within the IRS & Tax Administration Division Office, responsible for overseeing a diverse range of projects. These projects include the IDTTRF-ISAC, a collaborative Public-Private Partnership aimed at enhancing identity theft and refund fraud prevention, as well as initiatives related to IRS Criminal Investigations. The department plays a crucial role in managing and implementing strategies that support the IRS's mission to improve tax administration and enforcement.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.Sustained excellence in academic performance

Experience having applied computer science learning to an internship or research/lab position.Experience with Power Platform ExplorerDemonstrated interest in serving the public.
