Your OpportunityStantec’s Charleston office is seeking an entry level AutoCAD technician, for CAD drafting of structural plans and details, in addition to assisting with field measurements of existing structures for the preparation of as-built structural drawings. The CAD technician will also assist with technical administrative duties, such as proposals, project set-ups, AIA agreements, processing of photographs, technical reports, presentations, tracking construction administration services, and filing. Each applicate should have entry level CAD experience in AutoCAD, in addition to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Your Key Responsibilities Accurate CAD drafting of quality structural documents, Field assistance with field measurement of existing structures, Technical administrative duties, Reproduction of documents, Distribution of documents, and Electronic and Hardcopy filing.Education and Experience
High school diploma or an equivalent, with at least one year of high school AutoCAD course or one semester of technical college AutoCAD course.Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
