For our location in Dortmund, which specializes in the development, manufacture and global sales of gas and liquid lubricated mechanical seals for compressors, turbines, pumps, agitators, etc., we are looking for a Compressor Sealing Solutions Engineer (M/F/D).

Your tasks:

Development of application-oriented and technical solutions for seals and systems in the area of ​​compressors, turbines and other turbomachinery in the end customer sector;

Close cooperation with End Customers, Sales-, Commercial Operations and Operations Teams;

Development of sealing solutions in cooperation with Order and Product Development Teams;

Analysis of seal defects and causes of failure;

Providing technical support for inspections and carrying out the resulting troubleshooting;

Technical driver for upgrades and change-outs of seals and systems as well as identification of new applications and markets;

Close cooperation with global technical departments, including Application Engineers for turbomachinery, Specialists for mechanical seals and System Designers and Project Engineers;

Visiting End Customers and Participating in technical forums;

Conducting technical product training.

Your profile:

Completed degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;

Several years of professional experience with rotating equipment, such as compressors, mechanical seals and systems;

Basic experience with CAD programs and technical simulation software;

Strong analytical skills;

Very good knowledge of German and English;

Strong communication and presentation skills;

Strong sense of responsibility, interest in managing projects and passion for innovation.
