The Core Compliance – Associate role is part of the JPMSE Core Compliance team of the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD). The role is based in Paris and the team works closely with other EMEA Compliance teams to support regional and global compliance initiatives and programs. The role will support the implementation of the Core Compliance agenda within J.P. Morgan SE (JPMSE) as well as oversight and coordination of implementation within its branches. The individual will engage with various JPMSE stakeholders from Business and Control Functions and will necessarily require strong interaction with regional practices to drive consistency and ensure JPMSE considerations are adequately covered as a part of activities supported regionally.
Job responsibilities:
As a JPMSE Core Compliance Associate you will support the implementation, oversight, and coordination of the compliance agenda in JPMSE and its branches, with a focus on specific regulatory required processes and tasks such as:
Preparing governance and oversight reports to LE governance fora and regulators Updating policies, procedures, and the local Compliance Manual when necessary. Coordination of the JPMSE Compliance Policy Approval Process. Administration of JPMSE in person Compliance training across HQ and branches and set up/ update of JPMSE specific online training courses. Supporting the implementation and oversight of the JPMSE Training plan. Assisting in the execution of the JPMSE Compliance Outsourcing oversight governance model in relation to Compliance outsourced activities. Assisting in the execution of the JPMSE Compliance Monitoring & Testing governance and oversight model Supporting JPMSE Compliance in the execution of the JPMSE LE Risk Assessment and Qualitative Risk Appetite Assessment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
A minimum of three years’ relevant Compliance experience or other related experience (such as legal, audit or risk). Strong academic background or work achievements in the financial industry Very good knowledge of German and EU regulatory requirements Excellent organizational skills and very good writing skills (for policies and procedures) Fluency in English is essential Good analytic skills, very good written and verbal communication skills.
