Hamilton Company is looking for a Compliance Engineer who will work within the Research and Development Department and will report to the Principal Systems Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
Help product design teams apply UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326 and FCC part 15 to product design and testing.Review designs for compliance to UL/CSA/IEC 61010, EN 61326 and FCC part 15.Conduct tests for official UL/CSA/IEC 61010 TRF.Pre-test to ensure compliance to EN 61326 and FCC part 15.Read, interpret, and communicate changes in technical regulations.Facilitate safety reviews of products, as part of new product development efforts.Assist in test lab certification efforts. Qualifications Interpret and reduce data, generate graphs, and effectively communicate test results.Clear communication of complex ideas verbally and in writing.Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.Ability to communicate and interface effectively with multiple internal parties in various project groups.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Ability to impartially conduct testing of products.Willingness to look beyond the isolated issue at hand and drive towards a larger investigation and resolution. Education/Experience Bachelor of science degree in Engineering or related field from and accredited university or college.0-2 years of engineering experience in a product development and compliance.
