**Employee Benefits Compliance Coordinator**
The Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that company policies and procedures align with regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for monitoring compliance standards, assisting with audits, and supporting internal teams with compliance-related matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain timely and accurate market intelligence regarding carrier products, benefits, as well as compliance in insurance laws and legislation (COBRA, HIPAA, etc.).
+ Coordinate the resources and delivery of employee benefits services to best meet our clients’ needs and expectations.
+ Ownership of required client documents including document review for accuracy, gathering required information, and obtaining signatures.
+ Answer to client inquiries and escalate, as needed.
+ Facilitate the internal workflow of clients’ compliance binders.
+ Run reports through Benefit Point system for data accuracy and review.
+ In partnership with the Account Management team, review and analyze employee benefit service practices and compliance policies regularly.
+ Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with the internal HUB team as well as external clients.
+ Proactively seek personal development and growth to keep up to date on compliance laws and regulations as well as industry trends.
+ Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, protocol and state regulations.
+ All other duties as assigned by the Practice Leader
**Qualifications**
+ 3 years’ experience working in a Human Resource or Employee Benefits related field
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or management related degree preferred
+ Life & Health insurance license preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
+ Competence in technical compliance knowledge
+ Attention to detail and focused on accuracy and completeness
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
+ Ability to listen and seek to understand our client needs
+ Sense of curiosity and desire to learn
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to drive processes in a team environment
+ Must be able to execute on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment with high degree of accuracy
Department Business Operations
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: No Travel Required
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
