JOB PURPOSE: The Compliance Analyst will assist in conducting investigations, gathering and analyzing data, preparing preliminary reports and support other compliance team members. They will continually monitor Numotion’s adherence to internal policies and external regulations, ensuring all activities comply with legal and ethical standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish, foster, and maintain rapport and working relationships with all employees to build credibility and encourage the proactive use of the compliance team. Develop, document and execute formal investigative plans in response to compliance concern reports, privacy concerns or incidents, and during internal audits, including remedies and post resolution testing of remedies as applicable. Identify trends and proactively share those findings with the Compliance Leadership. Review open/closed orders to confirm compliance with payer and Numotion policies, where non-compliance is identified, responsibilities will include calculating overpayments and ensuring refunds. Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission. Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations. Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma and/or GED. Minimum of 2 years working in healthcare compliance or a field that involves investigation. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products. Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills. PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Working knowledge and experience with Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations pertaining to Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Specific knowledge of, and experience with, Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
