Job Summary:
System One is partnering with a client to hire for a Compensation Manager. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering compensation strategies, programs, and tools to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. This role focuses on core compensation (job architecture, annual reviews, geographic differentials) with minimal emphasis on executive compensation. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach, and experience leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage compensation plans, policies, and programs aligned with company strategy.
Lead job analysis, market pricing, and survey participation to maintain competitive pay practices.
Oversee annual compensation reviews, including salary structures and incentive guidelines.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
Lead a team, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback.
Manage compensation systems and vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
5–7+ years of direct compensation experience (non-executive focus).
Proven experience leading high-performing teams.
CCP or PHR certification preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
