Compensation Consulting Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career team at Mercer. This role will be based in Taiwan. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

A Compensation Consulting Analyst who will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide them with expert advice and solutions. This includes developing and implementing employee reward programs, providing expert advice on pay philosophy, reward strategies, market trends, regulations, and best practices. Works Drawing on global research and rigorous analysis, compensation consultants equip clients with guidance, knowledge, tools and support to ensure their talent programs reinforce their strategic objectives. A Compensation Consulting Analyst is an established, independent individual contributor, whose work has a direct impact on the team's outcomes.

We will count on you to:

Works with clients to understand their needs and advises on the best available solutionsExecutes, supports and manages client projects that focus on compensation, benefits, career frameworks, global mobility, workforce metrics and employee engagement topics (e.g. compensation and benefits benchmarking, career architecture, pay design, pay equality, workforce metrics, benefits or mobility programs)Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to generate reports, insights, benchmarks to help client to achieve their strategic objectives in their talent, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, mobility programsTypically manage smaller projects and workstreams of larger client projects. May lead additional internal projects as needed and participate in business development by supporting project plan development and pricingTypically manage smaller projects and workstreams of larger client projects. May lead additional internal projects as needed and participate in business development by supporting project plan development and pricingWrite and structure client presentations/ reports which typically require a high level of customizationUnderstand project components and processes to make sure analyses are correct. What you need to have:

1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a consulting environmentStrong business and financial acumen. Honed analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitativeExcellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detailProficient computer skills especially with Excel, Outlook and PowerPointStrong language skills – English and Mandarin
