Compensation Analyst

Summary
This position has responsibility for collecting and analyzing market data for all positions within Parkview Health. Participates in several market surveys each year to provide Parkview with current, relevant market data by which salary ranges are compared and analyzed. Develops and recommends competitive salary structures based on relevant market data while working within Parkview’s budgetary and financial constraints. Articulates best practices in the field of compensation and points out current trends in the market. Provides advice and counsel on compensation issues to any and all levels of Parkview leadership. Maintains a professional level of decorum in high stress situations. Must demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs, processes, and projects according to significance.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Finance.
Must have prior experience in business writing and analytical duties.
Prior work experience in a Human Resources department preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access required.
Demonstrates ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must have ability to acquire a functional knowledge of PeopleSoft.
