Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a COMOS Design Operator (6 months Internship program) for Traction Power Supply Systems in the field of Railway Electrification.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Supporting role: Preparation of detailed electrical engineering drawings of electrical systems and components with the CAE-tool COMOS and compilation of complete circuit manuals incl. overviews, bill of materials, etc. Understanding of engineering and design of Traction Power Supply substations for Rail Electrification systems. This is including Single line diagram, Control schematic wiring diagram and Communication bus diagram Planning and controlling of one’s own engineering work packages regarding date, cost and quality aspects Working as part of a team to ensure technical documentation is produced for major projects and tenders Clarification on work packages with Siemens’ internal departments and partners in Thailand and overseas Able to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision Individual contribution to reach the team goalsShape the future of mobility with your qualifications and skills.
Education
3rd year student or over studying in Electrical Engineering or High Vocational Certificate in ElectricalKnowledge/ Experience/ Languages
Knowledge of Electrical engineering in the field of High-Medium voltage technology with good Understanding of Power Substation configuration, Rail Electrification (preferred) Knowledge of creation and understanding of electrical schematic wiring diagram Knowledge of CAD tools and standard office software Knowledge of relevant European and International Standards Good command of English.Desirable
Experience in COMOS program or other electrical design software Experience in design and planning of electrical substations Experience in electrical and control design in LV/MV switchgear Experience in project realization, preferably in an international project environmentCapabilities
