Partner with residents in the planning, promoting, and coordinating of activities and events in the communityPerform preliminary work for monthly calendarsFacilitate communication regarding activities among residents and staffCreate flyers for events; writing articles for community bulletinsArrange audio/visual equipment with vendors for presentationsServe as the information center for resident inquiriesWhat you will need
Minimum of 3 years of experience in service-related roles, including volunteer work or public service.Previous experience working with senior citizens is preferred.Occasionally weekends, Holidays, and evening availability is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelGood interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.May direct, produce, edit, and videotape community activities, meetings, and special projects as needed.
