Job Title: Community Resource Manager Location: Charlottesville Job Type: Full time; 37.5 hours per week; Salary range 49k-55k JABA is dedicated to fostering strong and connected senior services within our communities. We provide support to seniors and disabled individuals to help them access resources and services that enhance their quality of life. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact and empowering people to thrive. Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Community Resource Manager to join our team. This role is essential in supervising our team of Aging Services Coordinators, while guiding them to connecting individuals with resources, services, and support their needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of community needs, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities: + Supervise multiple JABA programs; it is essential to have experience overseeing multiple departments. + Identify and assess the needs of community members and provide them with appropriate resources and referrals. + Organize community events to raise awareness and offer resources. + Develop and manage partnerships with external organizations to expand the network of available resources. + Provide ongoing support to individuals and organizations, ensuring they receive timely and effective services. + Collect, analyze and report data on resource utilization and community needs to improve service delivery. + Advocate for community members and work to remove barriers to accessing resources. + Maintain a resource database and ensure it is regularly updated. + Collaborate with team members to develop community outreach strategies and programs. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field preferred but not required. + 2+ years of experience in community resource management or a related role. + Knowledge of local community services, resources, and organizations. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse populations. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
