**Description** **Grand Strand Medical Center is looking for a Community Relations Coordinator!** **Job Summary:** ​​Reporting to the Director of Communications and Community Engagement, the Community Relations Coordinator will work collaboratively to heighten the positive reputation of Grand Strand Health and the other HCA Healthcare brands in our community.​ + ​Classes and Events: Coordinates community health seminars and events to include health fairs, camp, drug take backs and other special events. They will have hands-on involvement in hospital event coordination to heighten our positive reputation within the community and promoted services. ​ + Reputation Management: Assists with responding to comments, messages and reviews on Grand Strand Health’s social media pages and review sites. ​ + Social Media: Assists with the proactive planning and implementation of the health system’s social media strategy. This includes our Facebook, Instagram pages, blogs and other social media channels. ​ + Identifies meaningful healthcare related community activities that complement our community engagement goals. ​ + Schedule and work with clinical colleagues to staff informational tables at public events. + ​Works closely with support group leaders and class leaders on scheduling events/meetings at our facilities. ​ Job requirements + ​​1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting​ - Preferred + ​Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Health Promotion, Public Health or a related field. ​- Required + Previous experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. - Required **Benefits** Grand Strand Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
