Responsibilities

As a Community Manager - Office with Hines, you will be responsible for building a strong sense of community with the tenants in the property through face-to-face and online interaction. You will develop, implement, and oversee property-wide engagement initiatives within the tenant community, which include tenant events, lobby events, and overall tenant communications, reporting to the General Property Manager. You will also be responsible for overseeing the property’s social media initiatives. This role will be relied on to support Hines’s vision of providing market-leading tenant engagement services to all our tenants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

Personally greeting and engaging tenants in the building lobby on a daily basis, welcoming them, getting to know them and creating a strong sense of community.

Planning, creating, and implementing a variety of tenant events.

Creating, editing, and designing print and digital marketing materials for building events and announcements, including flyers, e-mails, signage, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.

Curating and publishing content to the property’s website, social media feeds, and building newsletter.

Coordinating with both internal and outside suppliers to organize and execute Tenant Talks (e.g. yoga classes, financial planning sessions, flower arranging classes, fitness seminars, etc.) at various locations throughout the property.

Champion The Hines Client Experience Program by implementing goals and programs established by Hines Client Experience Committee.

Developing, implementing, and evaluating Best Practices for the Client Experience Program in their geographic area of responsibility including the Forbes Travel Guide training.

Lead the creation of Chicago specific Hines Platinum Partnerships, “Hines Perks”.

Create Hines Client Experience semi-monthly newsletters.

Lead Hines Corporate Service Culture Training Platform for new employees.

Lead creation of Hines specific app for use in conjunction with Hines Client Experience.

Strong organizational skills: Updating events calendar, filling out proposal spreadsheet and always following job description sheet. 

Ability to multitask and run multiple events at properties.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

High School Diploma from an accredited institution; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Three or more years’ experience and previous success in a corporate concierge or customer service role, preferably in the commercial property management industry.

Experienced in marketing, social media and event planning.

Proficiency in social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Proficiency in marketing applications such as Canva, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Powerpoint and familiarity with writing a monthly newsletter.

Outgoing, friendly and customer-service focused.

Resourceful team player whose integrity will build strong and trusting relationships with tenants and teammates.

Strong self-confidence, positive outlook, takes responsibility.

Highly motivated self-starter, “can-do” attitude, high sense of urgency.

Superior organizational skills with the ability to work independently with minimal direction, minimal administrative support, and able to work well with others.

Able to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Confident communicator, both written and verbal.  Ability to communicate to multiple property teams and responsiveness to phone calls, emails and text messages.

Effective questioning and listening skills.

Professional presentation, well-groomed.Compensation: $87,900 - $109,900 Closing
