What we’re looking for
Vacasa is looking for a seeking a hard-working, energetic individual with experience in security and safety. Must also bring strong customer service skills with ability to keep friendly and helpful with our management, owners, guests and vendors.
Compensation
$20 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location. More benefits and company perks information belowWhat you’ll do
Monitor the property via walking patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment. Report illegal or suspicious activities, loitering or disturbing the peace. Complete and issue parking forms for verified guests, maintaining historical logs. Verify parking passes in parked vehicles, citing violations and remedial actions Interface in a friendly and helpful manner with management, owners, guests and vendors. Take appropriate actions, during security, fire, medical and other emergencies. Maintain liaisons with local police, emergency response management, fire suppression team, public safety and medical authorities. Monitor security cameras when not patrolling or performing assigned tasks. Provide continuity with daytime custodial techs, responding to timely needs of the property’s maintenance and custodial tasks. Secure building before departure, including locking common areas and maintenance doors. Complete required shift logs and other reports, as needed. Wear presentable Enclave Courtesy Patrol uniform while on duty.Skills and Position Requirements
1+ years training in security, military, and/or law enforcement preferred Proven general maintenance skills required Custodial experience preferred Must possess a valid driver’s license Reliable transportation required First Aid/CPR certification preferred Basic computer skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to make sound decisions with little supervision Provide a sense of safety to employees, owners, and guests Excellent customer service skills required Excellent communication skills Dependability Ability to work in extreme weather conditionsWork Environment and Physical Demands
