The Community and Brand Development Manager is responsible for collaborating with publishing partners to establish the brand voice for 20th Century Games and its respective intellectual properties across platforms critical to game audiences. This role will partner with developers and publishers, as well as the 20th Century Games Product and Leadership team, to ensure 20th Century properties are well presented on traditional channels as well as endemic platforms like Discord, Reddit, TikTok and more.

The Community and Brand Development Manager will work with the General Manager and Senior Producer of 20th Century Games to assess new concepts, using a passion for games and a knowledge of existing developers and publishers and their strengths (as well as the strengths and potential of the 20th Century Franchises) to help spot opportunities and possibilities for future titles.

You will:

Manage online presence and community for titles across the 20th Century Games slate, ensuring the successful launch and live operations of these titles in partnership with licensees

Assist in reviewing marketing materials, providing guidance for a consistent brand voice to licensees

Be the lead brand communicator for assigned titles to external and internal stakeholders and, when appropriate, to consumer audiences directly in communities for titles and brands

Be a strong steward of 20th Century Games brands, especially in providing insights/support to licensees, anticipating Studio and Franchise concerns, and managing executions to ensure high-quality marketing executions

Evaluate inbound opportunities for development, publishing, and integration proposals

Conduct internal playtest coordination and interpret results

Serve as an internal consultant for “mock reviews” and other product evaluation

Establish and track key KPIs for community engagement with licensees

Execute industry best practices and maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive market, and business opportunities

Help deliver on innovative and performance-driven 20th Century Games campaigns that extend reach, increase awareness, and result in meaningful brand deposits with core audience constituencies

Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams (Product Development, PR, Franchise, Legal and more) to leverage their expertise throughout all stages of campaign production

Required Qualifications and Skills:

4+ years of experience in Marketing, combined with 2+ years of working in gaming industry strongly preferred

Demonstrated success in product voice management and social/community strategy, having shipped multiple games

Experience writing, developing, and producing video content to communicate brand-led updates to audiences

Experience crafting mock reviews of titles and working with licensed/branded titles

History of working with titles early in development to steer broad brand strategy as it applies to target demographics and audiences

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence and “sell” strategies to a wide audience set and cultivate strong relationships with licensees

A "ready to wear multiple hats" work ethic, ready to throw yourself at a problem and immerse yourself in a franchise, audience, community, and production pipeline

Highly organized, detail-oriented project manager; ability to multi-task and prioritize

Passion for 20th Century Brands (Film, Television, FX, Animation, NatGeo, ESPN) a must!
