Communications Manager (Atlanta, Hybrid)
Will report to the corporate office in Atlanta but in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days per week in the office and additional as work requires)Please note that a portfolio/writing sample is required

Job Summary

Develops and executes internal and external communications programs and projects. Supports special corporate events and related strategic communications.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Plans and executes proactive and integrated communications initiatives.Works with field and functional areas to align communications and messaging to company and departmental strategies.Drives communications strategies and key messaging and collaborates with cross-functional partners for large internal events.Manages enterprise-wide internal communications channels.Counsels internal business clients on effective communications strategies and tactics.Partners with internal stakeholders to develop supplemental communications resources.

Nature and Scope

Solutions require analysis and investigation.Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
