**Job Summary**
The Intern is an associate who typically works in a temporary position with an emphasis on gaining experience in one's field of educational study. Internships may be part-time or full-time and typically last 6-12 weeks, but can be shorter or longer. Responsibilities typically include administrative assignments but may also include special project work, research, and other responsibilities directly or indirectly related to one's field of study.
**Essential Functions**
+ Assists communications team with editing promotional projects on Adobe Premiere
+ Supports healthcare projects, data collection, analysis, and report preparation for department managers.
+ Participates in departmental meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities.
+ Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-focused approach in all interactions.
+ Integrates direct or indirect experience in the chosen field of study through work performed.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in area of study.
+ 0-1 years experience in Area of Study preferred
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
+ Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Empathetic and patient-focused approach to interactions with patients, families, and staff.
+ A willingness to learn and take initiative in a clinical or healthcare setting.
