KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategy and Planning

Responsible for strategic development and implementation of impactful product communications programs, external and internal, for key (launch) brands that are critically important for the company Develop integrated campaigns to create and manage stakeholder perceptions and influence healthcare choices that support business goals and brand targetsAlways on the top of understanding targeted key stakeholders, channels outreach effectiveness as well as competition Improve disease and treatment awareness in targeted disease areasEnable market access for key products by media environment shaping and KOL engagement

Messaging and Creative Content Assets Development

Develop compelling communications narratives and develop audience-centric content to support business objectivesCreate quality and attractive content aligned to Sanofi messages and core narratives to elevate the storytelling of Sanofi thought leadership in defined diseases areas Support future of science and pipeline/R&D storytelling

Media Relations and Key Campaigns

Manage public relations to build a positive brand preference and thought leadership image in the minds of customers, media, government and public Translate strong local insights into the development of communication concepts, linking the business strategy to the campaign developmentGuide the design and implementation of communication activities, integrating innovative communication tactics, traditional and multimedia channels to maximize stakeholders impact and meet strategic communication objectivesSupport Sanofi’s participation in major engagement activities such as CIIE to amplify Sanofi’s voices and build favorable business environmentEffective and proactive issue and crisis management to protect the company and brand reputation; develop key messages, QA and press releases as needed and anticipate potential media issues

Internal Communications

Develop GBU internal communications and employee engagement strategy and plan to align with business priorities and corporate agendaCreate professional and engaging content for effective communications with employeesIn close collaboration with internal comms team, contribute BU/product news and stories to the overall Sanofi China story and support to mobilize teams and build an engaging culture across company

JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelor Degree minimum, communications, public relations or related majors

Experience & knowledge:

Minimum 10-12 years track record in public relations with a leading brand, healthcare expertise a must; new launch experience is a plusExperience in working in an international matrix organization, or a global PR agencyMature in terpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a big transversal company

Core competencies:

Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and compelling stories, with superior bilingual written and verbal communications skillsProfessional maturity and ability to work indepently and effectively with critical thinking and analytic abilityGood multi-tasking skills, energetic and maintain high standard of excellence in executionSolid digital and multimedia channel operation experience and insightsExcellent judgement and performance under high pressure and against tight deadlinesOutstanding project planning and management skills with strong ownership on time, budget and deliverablesSelf-starter, strong in taking initiatives and effective in achieving resultsStrong interpersonal skills and a good team player, able to work effectively across all levels, functions and cultural backgrounds
