Portland State University’s Department of Communication invites applications for local Adjunct Instructors with expertise in areas of Communication and teaching experience to teach undergraduate sections of courses in Communication. Position Summary Instructor must be qualified to teach courses in the area of Public Speaking. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Communication (or closely related field). Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Communication (or closely related field).

Compensation Adjuncts are paid per credit hour, and are hired on either a per term or an academic year basis, per the AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement.
