Business Segment Overview

With boots on the ground authenticity at the heart of everything we do, our comprehensive array of commercial products and services enable you to work directly with our clients, across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance and more. The Trade Associate role is responsible for trade related issues, market report translation, account opening process and customer interactions. The ideal candidate is fluent in verbal and written communication skills to assist and support the staff of the department in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Daily customer interaction regarding order placement, execution, and fillsAssists with answering phones, filling order tickets, checking daily trades and afternoon prelimsFiling dutiesMaintains a satisfied level of customer service with clients both internal and externalHandles client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation to a more senior team member if necessaryWorks proactively with other team membersMaintains prompt and regular attendance.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary. Qualifications

Qualifications:

Accounting, Agribusiness, Business, Economics, or Finance majors preferredStrong interpersonal skills, able to deal with a variety of people comfortably and pleasantlyStrong customer skillsAbility to correctly make decisions involving client issues/problems including when to escalate the problem to a more senior consultantExceptional written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational and planning skillsAbility to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skillsAbility to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environmentStrong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detailsProficient in Excel and OutlookCertification for Series 3 license may be obtained with this roleMust be authorized to work in the US for any employer
