Job Title: Retro Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
Lead retro-commissioning projects with your knowledge of the design of mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities as they relate to energy conservation. Be a part of the retro-commissioning process from beginning to end with minor supervision, including developing retro-commissioning plans, reports, and pre-functional and functional test procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Lead retro-commissioning projects focused on energy conservation.
+ Develop retro-commissioning plans and reports.
+ Create pre-functional and functional test procedures.
+ Oversee the retro-commissioning process from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in retro-commissioning commercial buildings over 50,000 square feet.
+ Professional engineering license.
+ Expertise in HVAC equipment and commercial building systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Professional engineering license.
+ Certified Facility Manager or Certified Energy Manager certifications.
+ Experience working in NYC.
Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment. The office is approximately 5-6 years old and has a team of around 30 polished professionals. The dress code is business casual. The office is smaller in size, so candidates should be comfortable working in close quarters. The company is growing rapidly, having added 20 people in the last 2-3 years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00
