We are looking for a Commission Collection Consultant to join our growing team. This role will act as a consultant and own the collection process and interaction with our IA’s. This will require the candidate to collaborate with suppliers, IAs and our accounting team. This role has great growth opportunity within our high performing team.  If you're passionate about travel, making connections, working with others, and providing a world class experience for our partners, you might be perfect for our team.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with Independent Agents on:

Accounting: Commission collection and research for outstanding commissions owed with suppliers

Administrative work, helping with general IA inquiries, etc.

Maintain logins for leisure supplier booking engines and websites

Maintain and update all content on the IA knowledge base (Portal and Supplier Database)

Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on the needs of the IA division.

What We're Looking For:

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.

Experience working in a high touch, fast-paced service environment

Strong financial analysis skills and overall financial acumen

Passion for Excellence in Client Service

Excellent Professional Communication – both written and verbal

Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional rapport and multi-task, accepting, and adapting to change quickly and professionally

Possess a strong understanding of travel trends and industry best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Knowledge of basic Sabre a plus, however, willing to train.

Well-travelled and strong working knowledge of world geography preferred.

Location

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000.  The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance, one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain direct sales roles only), or one of our Client Management Incentive Award (CMIA) programs.  An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period.  For information about our comprehensive US benefits programs and eligibility, please review our Benefits-at-a-Glance document.
