Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Commis II - Bakery to join our professional culinary team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our bakery department, you will contribute to creating high-quality baked goods while maintaining excellent hygiene standards and collaborating with other kitchen staff.
Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and dessertsFollow recipes, methods, and instructions from the Executive Chef accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsCollaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient completion of tasksSupport the team in meeting and exceeding guest expectations in quality and serviceProperly use and maintain bakery equipment and utensilsAssist in inventory management and stock rotationParticipate in menu development and implementation of new recipesEnsure the timely preparation of baked goods for various functions and eventsMaintain personal grooming and hygiene standards at all timesQualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar bakery roleCulinary diploma or equivalent qualification in baking and pastry artsThorough knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety standardsDemonstrated ability to follow recipes and cooking methods preciselyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExcellent teamwork and communication skillsEfficient time management and organizational abilitiesBasic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredientsPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy itemsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysPassion for baking and creating high-quality productsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
