What will I be doing?
\nAs a Commis Chef, you will utilise your creative flair and passion for food to ensure high quality food production for hotel outlets, which meets the Hilton standards. You will work autonomously and manage your time and workspace accordingly, in order to prepare the daily required food for various culinary operations within the hotel.
\n\nSpecifically you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:\n Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus\nAssist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner\nEnsure food stuffs are of a good quality and stored correctly\nContribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets\nAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships\nReport maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues as well as comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation\nWhat are we looking for?
\nIn your new role, you will be working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
