Lead our team of technical sales professionals - Estimators, Sales Engineers, and Business Development Representatives. Lead VVG business development initiatives – i.e. sustainability, new products, regional accounts, etc.  Establish and develop strong relationships with architects, engineers, and other potential partners. Proactively identify and drive opportunities for Vulcraft and Nucor to provide market-based solutions. Collaborate with DSMs on leading major project strategy with strong collaboration across division, group, and enterprise. Assist Sales Manager in leading all commercial aspects of the business, and back up as needed. Coach and develop direct report sales teammates.

Minimum Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering & Registered Professional Engineer (PE). Willing and able to travel regularly. Committed to relocate within three years for future advancement opportunities within Nucor. Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation. Problem Solving & Judgment/Decision Making: Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options to choose the most appropriate solution. Demonstrate the ability to think strategically. Business Acumen: General business knowledge and understanding of how Nucor makes money. Preferred Qualifications: Emphasis in Structural Engineering. Previous commercial sales experience. Two years in a supervisory role. Experience as a structural engineering specifying professional. Experience developing and/or implementing new business strategies. SAP Experience.
