Overview

Hire Resolve’s client, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is currently seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Prospect and Generate Leads:

Identify and target potential commercial clients interested in solar energy solutions. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

Consultative Sales:

Collaborate with clients to assess their energy needs and provide customised solar solutions. Conduct on-site evaluations to gather relevant information for proposal development. Clearly communicate the benefits of solar energy and address client concerns.

Proposal Development:

Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals based on client requirements. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate project specifications. Present proposals to clients and address questions or objections.

Contract Negotiation:

Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules to secure deals. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure contracts meet company standards.

Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

Proven track record in commercial sales, specifically in the solar or renewable energy industry. Strong understanding of solar energy systems and their benefits. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Valid driver’s license.
