The Russelectric Finance Organization is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to be an integral member of a highly dynamic and energetic team. The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar, and previous work experience of 3-5 years in commercial project management, profitability analysis, cash management, claim management, financial accounting and process improvement. The Commercial Project Manager must have excellent communication skills for collaboration with business stakeholders across various departments, factories and business segments.
The position is located at our office in Hingham, MA/US, with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days per week.

What you will do for Russelectric:
As a Commercial Project Manager with one of the world’s most respected manufacturers of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will partner with Russelectric’s Project Management Office, perform profitability analysis on projects, lead the Go4Cash initiative of Russelectric This is an excellent opportunity for you to help a great sales, project management and manufacturing organization become even better!
Your financial expertise will help our project management organization improve their ability to deliver our customers our products to help make the world in a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will be part of providing solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including financial planning, cost controlling, invoicing and payment collection, business models, financing concepts, currency hedging, risks and opportunities, contract analysis, etc.
• Support the forecast and budget processes to achieve the highest level of accuracy.
• Participate in month-end process and support on balance sheet management and analysis.
• Monitor revenue recognition: actual vs plan, degree of completion, cost to complete, total forecasted costs vs planned during the defined lifecycle of the project
• Partner with the head of PMO to improve processes and the project management function on financial performance.
• Ensure accuracy of project books and records, including recording in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP - ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines plus local GAAP requirements. Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
• Lead the Go4Cash activities partnering with Global Share Services Collections team, Sales and Project Management.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and initiate the development of contingency plans/risk mitigation measures.
• Supervise and control project scope on large projects >3’0, schedule, budget, risks/opportunities, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the extended Project Team.
You will impress us with the following qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required;
• Three (3) to five (5) years of commercial project controlling experience
• Financial experience in technology and/or manufacturing industry
• Experience in financial reporting and consolidation, technical accounting, and operational improvement required; consistent track record to perform these functions independently, optimally, and with attention to detail;
• Detailed reporting and controlling experience including P&L responsibility for assigned projects, balance sheet, cash-flow
• Comprehensive experience in controlling and accounting, contracts and claims management, and supply chain management in a factory environment
• Proficiency with SAP FI/CO and Microsoft Office tools;
• Ability to learn and lead process improvement using new reporting tools such as Dash Reporting, WebFocus, Mendix, KNIME and Tableau;
• Interest in constantly getting better with a hands-on attitude;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English required;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence people in a fast-paced multi-cultural business environment.
• Proven organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills;
• Experience working on project/product teams supporting multiple projects/products and project managers
