Job Description

The Finance Intern will be part of the Zurn Elkay Platform and will be based in Milwaukee, WI as part of the Commercial Finance team.  This role will be responsible for supporting month end close processes, analyzing Go-To-Market and Business Unit performance, and ensuring compliance to Zurn Elkay policies and procedures. This role will report to the Sr. Analyst of Commercial Finance.

Key Accountabilities

Assist with compiling, tracking, and analyzing information to evaluate achievement of key operational and strategic objectives, as well as to monitor the overall financial and operating health/performance of the business

Aid the development of new tools that drive scalable analysis and insight

Collaborate with Commercial team members on building monthly forecasts

Assist with the month-end close and reporting processes

Analyze monthly/quarterly results, research variances to explain underlying causes, and identify trends

Perform ad-hoc requests and assist in analysis of special projects

Support the Commercial team’s continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros.

Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
