RQ construction is quickly becoming one of the leading players in the commercial & government industry on the East Coast. We have multiple projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast and are seeking full time Commercial Drywall Finishers to join our team. This position will be based out of Kings Bay, GA.\n
The Commercial Drywall Finisher will be responsible for the finishing and detailing of drywall in commercial construction projects. This includes applying drywall joint compound, sanding, and ensuring smooth and polished surfaces for final paint or other finishes. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. \n
All work is to be performed on the military bases and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage. \n
Qualifications are as follows:\n\nA high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.\nThree or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in commercial drywall installation and finishing within the construction industry required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.\nSpecific training or certificates in the following areas preferred:\n\nTrenching and shoring training o Fall protection training\nConfined space training\nOSHA 10-hour\n\n\n\n
