Batteries Plus is seeking a Commercial Contract Coordinator (Deal Desk Analyst) to play a pivotal role in enabling complex B2B deals. This position is instrumental in coordinating pricing, structuring proposals, and managing contract workflows to ensure that each deal is financially sound, compliant, and delivered with precision. Acting as the cross-functional hub between Sales, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, the Deal Desk Analyst allows the sales team to focus on what matters most-building strong customer relationships and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities Deal Structuring & Bid CoordinationLead coordination of all non-standard B2B deals, including custom RFP responses.
Collaborate with Sales to define deal parameters (volume, product mix, services).
Align with Supply Chain and Finance to secure cost data and establish margin-appropriate pricing.
Assemble and route proposals for timely review and executive approval.
Contract Support & Legal WorkflowPartner with Legal and Paralegal teams to manage contract redlines and track all edits.
Ensure all contract versions are up to date and comply with internal approval protocols.
Oversee execution of contracts within established legal and financial thresholds.
Pricing & Financial OversightCoordinate pricing approvals and conduct profitability modeling for complex opportunities.
Identify pricing outliers and ensure all proposals meet commercial viability standards.
Support cost analysis alongside the Supply Chain Bid Desk.
Deal Governance & ReportingTrack key metrics such as deal cycle time, margin performance, and contract exceptions.
Generate reports for Commercial leadership on deal trends and performance.
Maintain a centralized knowledge base of templates, playbooks, and approved deviations.
Cross-Functional EnablementServe as a liaison to remove friction in deal execution across departments.
Support sales enablement through knowledge sharing, training, and FAQs.
Contribute to initiatives that streamline the deal process and improve turnaround times.

QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or Legal Contracting.
Strong grasp of B2B pricing strategies, contracts, and bid processes.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience in a franchise-based or multi-stakeholder commercial sales environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ systems, or contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., DocuSign CLM).
Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and margin analysis.
