Commercial Construction Sr Program Specialist

As a Commercial Construction Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing commercial construction projects at the University of Maryland. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the building project. This role requires a high level of expertise in program management and construction coordination.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Supervisor and work 100% onsite at the Baltimore, MD office location.

\n

You will work in or around University of Maryland where the building is being built, and at the Honeywell Office in Baltimore MD.

\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nEnsure projects deadlines, contractual requirements, engineering specs, and applicable codes are met.\nEnsure projects are completed on time, under budget, and up to customer expectations.\nDevelop and execute scopes of work required to complete various projects.\nPlan, forecast, and monitor labor, 3rdparty material, and subcontract costs.\nReview, interpret, understand, and implement various contract documents.\nLead meetings and maintain project meeting minutes.\nReport project progress to internal and external stakeholders of differing backgrounds.\nMonitor, evaluate, and guide subcontractor performance on site.\nAssemble project closeout documents and warranties.\nProduce accurate monthly revenue forecasts to report to the business.\nEnsure a safe working environment and safe work practices are in place and enforced.\nLead and manage the execution of complex programs and projects.\nDevelop and implement program plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.\nMonitor program performance and ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.\nIdentify and mitigate risks and issues and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nKnowledge in one or more of the following fields: building automation, controls, security, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire, contracts, and construction.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams\n\n
