Creates, manages and executes business sales strategies. Proactively identifies prospects and cultivates relationships. Develops and implements strategies to close business deals. Presents to potential clients and assists in growing and maintaining the client relationship. Ensures achievement of the company's strategies, current goals and long-term goals. Develops and implements strategic goals, objectives and assigned P&L responsibilities. Sets, reviews and meets P&L targets and monitors expenditures and resource allocation against budget and goals. Allocates and manages resources to meet objectives. Develops and implements business strategy and policies that impact financial and operational performance.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Actively participates in the development of overall policies, programs, objectives and strategic plans.
Formulates and implements business development strategies, marketing strategic and public relationship strategies directed toward achieving market penetration and expansion in market.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market landscape and division’s performance levels within its market.
Responsible for brand management and corporate identity.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of market objectives.
Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or equivalent field.
Work Experience:
12+ years of hands-on new business development/relationship management experience in the commercial banking sector, showing increased responsibilities and marketing program experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Must possess exceptionally strong relationship management and negotiation skills, specifically working with commercial banking sized clients.
Very strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability of using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Attention to detail, being and thorough in completing work tasks.
Strong social orientation, preferring to work with others rather than alone, and being personally connected with others on the job.
Extensive progressive experience in business development, risk management, industry knowledge and banking regulations.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
