As a key member of our team, this position will drive revenue of our fleet & commercial fueling products combined with our cloud-based enterprise software program to provide a full offering to fleets.

Reporting to the director of sales, the Commercial Account Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will manage a network of distributors who sell and distribute Gasboy product solutions. You will work to prospect and develop end fleet sales opportunities with our distributor partners. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and various external stakeholders to define, implement, and maintain an effective sales strategy and bring in cross functional support team members as needed. This role requires you to be able to quickly assess situational needs, consultative selling tactics and deliver full fleet management value proposition to achieve results.

What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)
\n\nMeet/exceed assigned sales targets for designated territory/accounts.\nWork with distributor partners to identify and engage best in class channel/ fleet customers to bring insights and expertise to assist fleets with our full product equipment and software offering.\nWork closely with Distributors to assist in sales training and presentations with larger clients. \nTrain, coach, mentor, and partner with Distributor Sales Reps to sell the Gasboy product solutions and support them with end account opportunities. \nHandle any inquiries produced by the distributor or end customers, investigate the issues, and provide the necessary feedback.\nNetwork and negotiate with potential end fleet accounts about their orders, generating revenue for the company. \nIdentify and work with engineering firms, clients, and government municipalities to educate and specify Gasboy’s fleet fuel management solutions.\nAttend sales meetings, conferences, and events within territory. \nManage the territory through inputting all sales related data into Salesforce.com, including scheduling, logging sales calls, and managing assigned accounts by reporting key activities/updates and sales forecasts. \nSource new and existing sales opportunities thru inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and working closely with distribution partners.\nPerform effective online and in-person demos to prospects.\nCommunicate regularly with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.\nCollaborate with marketing to develop sales tools and marketing materials in collaboration to drive positive sales/channel engagement and outcomes.\nGathering customer, competitive and market information and providing voice of customer input into product roadmap development, promotions, and sales content.\n\n\nThe compensation range for this position is $228,000 to $262,000 per year inclusive of sales incentive compensation. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
\n\nBA/BS degree preferred.\nNeed to live in the West Region. Strong preference to live in California\n5+ years progressive experience in distributor management and sales model.\nFleet transportation and logistics knowledge or previous experience is a plus.\nExisting relationships with large private fleets, federal government, city, state, municipality, and DOT’s is a benefit.\nAbility to interact at all levels in distributor and end customer/prospect organizations from c-suite to operations staff to successfully navigate and grow our total revenue. \nAbility to think quickly, articulate solutions as problem solver and counter objections professionally.\nTrack record of exceeding quota targets.\nProficient with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong selling, listening and presentation skills.\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.\nDemonstrated experience defining and optimizing complex processes and communicating sophisticated product knowledge.\nKnowledge of digital communication channels (web, social media, etc.) and how they influence sales cycle.\n
