Responsibilities & Requirements

The Community Wellness Program Specialist position duties include, but are not limited to the following:

The Program Specialist reports to the Community Outreach Manager and will assist in maintaining the wellness activities for the Community Outreach Dept.This position will support the Program Coordinator's in the development and implementation of wellness programs, provide education and promote the Years Ahead program to increase membership participation.The Program Specialist will participate in the day-to-day operations of the Call Center answering multi line phones and is responsible for processing calls including Physician Referral Service.Regularly communicate effectively with patients/family/significant others of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.Must be willing to transport work related materials, in employee's own personal vehicle, to on and offsite locations as needed.Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

High School diploma requiredCPR certification.Experience in Health Care setting.Excellent organization, presentation and communications skills required.Ability to work varied hours with some evenings and weekends. Highly motivated and able to work independently.Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite.Requires the ability to lift 30-50 pounds as needed.
